On December 11 2025, a first-year electrical apprentice was involved in a life-threatening car crash following a day of work in extreme heat conditions. That apprentices name is Noah, and he and his family have been relentless in their pursuit of justice, and the fight for better for other apprentices.
He has chosen to share his story to highlight the serious risks associated with heat exposure, fatigue, excessive travel and inadequate breaks, particularly for apprentices. His story can be viewed here. It was provided by his family to raise awareness of systemic risks and to advocate for stronger safeguards to ensure no other family experiences a similar ordeal.
