On 3rd of June, ETU National Secretary Michael Wright and Chief Economist at the McKell Institute, Alison Pennington, travelled down to Canberra to deliver an address at the National Press Club. The address launched Sovereign Power.
With global supply shocks hitting us hard and fast, Australian industry and hundreds of thousands of jobs are at risk, but there is an incredible opportunity before us.
We need publicly owned renewable generation, and Sovereign Power is just that.
Australia has built and delivered electricity before, and we can do it again.
