NATIONAL LEGAL AND INDUSTRIAL CONFERENCE 2026

TThe ETU National Legal & Industrial Conference 2026 brought together lawyers and industrial officers from across the Communications, Electrical, and Plumbing Union (CEPU) for two days of professional development, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Held at the ETU National Office in Sydney, the conference featured an outstanding line-up of speakers, including leading barristers, employment lawyers, industrial practitioners and a Vice President from the Fair Work Commission, covering topics such as union eligibility, advocacy, workers’ compensation, competition law, AI in legal practice and strategic litigation.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity for CEPU lawyers and industrial officers to strengthen professional networks, discuss emerging legal and industrial issues, and enhance the skills needed to continue delivering strong representation for CEPU members across Australia.

Conferences like this allow the CEPU lawyers and Industrial Officers to learn from each other, develop best practices for managing cases, and ensure that we continue to deliver the best outcomes for members.
