ETU campaigns to further improve new Asbestos Laws
Under new government regulations, there is a ban on the import and use of asbestos products. However, ‘in situ’ (i.e. in use or in place) asbestos compounds and products can still be used provided that they do not pose a health risk. The ETU is not happy with this approach to 'in situ' asbestos.
