Full Federal Court Restores Democracy in ETU

Today’s overturning by the Full Court of the Federal Court, of a ruling that had resulted in the disenfranchisement of some 17,000 members of the NSW Branch is a huge win for the union, ETU National Secretary Peter Tighe said today.

Members are advised that pursuant to regulation 126(1)(b) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009, a notice setting out the particulars of changes to the rules of the Union have been lodged for registration with Fair Work Australia.
