Members are advised that pursuant to regulation 126(1)(b) of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009, a notice setting out the particulars of changes to the rules of the Union have been lodged for registration with Fair Work Australia.

The changes includes amendments to the rules:

• to allow for emailing decisions by correspondence by the various Divisional committees of management;
• to streamline the various requirements under the existing rules for Branches to provide membership lists to the Divisional office; 
• to clarify the provisions regarding control and expenditure of Divisional funds; and 
• to amend rules regarding the determination of Branch affiliation to political parties.
